[1st Fujisawa City Fire Department Steer Race]

The first Fujisawa City Fire Department Steer Race was held on November 27, 2025 at Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden and Enoshima Sea Candle.
Firefighters often have to run up stairs while wearing heavy equipment at fire scenes, so this competition is an effective opportunity to hone their skills. By challenging themselves in a harsh environment, it also provides an opportunity to reaffirm their bonds with their colleagues and their sense of mission.

The event also serves as a place to pay tribute to those who risked their lives to protect citizens, including the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11.

It is hoped that this event will raise awareness of firefighting activities and raise awareness of disaster prevention.

Enoshima Electric Railway will continue to support and cooperate with stair racing.
