We held a free light-up campaign! 🏝

Enoshima Sea Candle has started its "light-up service" from July.

To commemorate the launch of our paid service, we held a free light-up campaign inviting everyone to share their thoughts and feelings about what they would like to convey through the light-up.
We expressed the feelings of the winners, selected from among the many applications we received, by illuminating them with the light of the Sea Candle.

This time, we'll be sharing stories from everyone who participated.

As a birthday present for your wife

The applicant is someone who moved from Kyoto to Fujisawa due to a job transfer.

As he left his familiar surroundings and began a new life in a new environment, he applied for this position with the hope of "bringing a little bit of cheer to my wife, who is working hard in a place where she doesn't know anyone."

To coincide with his wife's birthday, he chose to have the lights turned in her favorite color.

The Sea Candle shining in the night sky over Enoshima became a memorable birthday present for the two of them.

Precious memories with your beloved dog, lit by the flame.

I always looked up at the Sea Candle during my daily walks along the beach.

She has visited Samuel Cocking Garden many times with her dog, and apparently enjoyed the beautiful candles, illuminations, and ice tulips.

However, that beloved dog passed away this spring.

"I hope you're still gazing at the beautiful Sea Candle from the sky."

With that sentiment in mind, the chosen color was light pink, which was the theme color of my beloved dog.

The gentle, warm light illuminated irreplaceable memories, making it a truly special night.

With feelings for my favorite works

The popular anime series "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" is set in Fujisawa.

The winner applied because they wanted to dye the Sea Candle in the image color of Shoko Makinohara, a character in the work.

The light-up, imbued with affection and support for works set in the region, becomes a special time for fans.

I did.

The feelings for a loved one, expressed in the color of sunflowers.

The client applied for a yellow light-up display, inspired by sunflowers, which her husband loved, to coincide with the anniversary of his death.

On that day, they enjoyed the illuminated Sea Candle with their family and commented, "It was a dreamlike and beautiful sight, and it became an unforgettable and special time."

She was deeply moved by the elegant yellow light and shared that feeling with her relatives and friends.
"It was a memorable anniversary of their passing, and I was very happy," they wrote, sharing their heartwarming sentiment.

A new way to enjoy the Sea Candle, lighting up your dreams.

What I realized through this campaign is that each color has its own unique story.
Gratitude and celebrations for loved ones. Memories with family and pets. Feelings of support for works of art and artists.

The Sea Candle Light-Up Service is a new service that expresses your feelings and wishes through light.
It can be used for a variety of occasions, including celebrating anniversaries, marriage proposals, surprises, supporting your favorite idols, and corporate/organizational PR.
