Noto Support Charity Event
On Saturday, November 16th, a Noto support and reconstruction event featuring a Landscape x Saihate reading drama was held at the Kaizan Gallery.
This charity talk event has teamed up with Landscape Theater, a Fujisawa-based theater without a building, and The End of the Earth Reading Theatre, with the aim of supporting the damage to education, culture, and the arts caused by the Hokuriku earthquake in January and the torrential rains in September.
The event was divided into three parts. In the first part, members of the "Donguri-no-Kai" group from Suzu City, who read local folk tales and old stories, spoke about the charms of Suzu and its state at the time.
The second part was a folk tale picture story reading by the Donguri Group and everyone, accompanied by music by actors Takako Tokiwa, Keiichi Nagatsuka, and Kaitaro Abe. In the third part, all the performers spoke about Suzu in the past, Suzu in the future, and the place called Suzu, and the event ended successfully.
Charity goods were also sold on the day, and 140 people helped support the Noto reconstruction effort.
